Jose Zavala, technician at MAGAP, said that this association has been trained and have implemented technological innovations in several areas such as cocoa, pigs, guinea pigs and poultry.

Esteban Tsanimp, a beneficiary of the MAGAP programme, was thankful for the support and said that it has helped and allowed producers to improve crop and livestock production.

Provincial Director of Agriculture, Roberth Samaniego, recalled that a year ago, producers were given the same number of piglets for breeding and today, the same producers are able to sell pork and distribute piglets to producers from other provinces.
