Cuban Pork Production, Environment Seminar

CUBA - At a seminar in Havana this week, one of the main issues that Latin American and European experts will be addressing is the relationship between pork production and the environment.

Alfred Crespo, Director of the Cuban Pork Institute, told Prensa Latina that about 250 experts from Venezuela, Chile, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France and other nations will be attendng the seminar.

According to Cuba Headlines, the event will be held at the Capitol Convention Center from May 27th to 30th.

Food production, genetics and reproduction, facilities and management and local breedings area other topics on the agenda.

Cuba will show results of its Program of Conservation and Use of Genetic Resources regarding the Cuban Indigenous Pig.
