China and Slovakia Sign Agricultural Agreement

SLOVAKIA - China and Slovakia have signed an agreement to enhance agricultural cooperation after a meeting between Vice Minister Niu Dun and Slovak Agricultural Secretary Magdaléna Lacko Bartošová in Bratislava was held last week.

The two sides exchanged views on implementing the memorandum of understanding between the two ministries on intensifying agricultural cooperation to further enhance bilateral agricultural cooperation.

Vice Minister Niu said China and Slovakia have a long history of agricultural cooperation and its mechanisms have been improving gradually.

In recent years, there have been frequent high-level visits and personnel exchanges, close cooperation in agricultural science and technology, and growing agricultural trade between the two nations.
